Process notes

Kegged. Jack fruit character isn't off putting. Hard to describe. Funky apple/clove? Flavor is cider like with a bitter finish. Hopefully these two mellow out.

Lost ~1.5-2 gallons because siphon was clogged with fruit.

Boil for 60 minutes

Nothing was added to the boil.

Pitch 1 pack of 3711 French Saison (Wyeast) at 72°. (Pitched at 8:00pm.)

Dry additions

3.85 pounds of Jack Fruit. (Bought frozen jack fruit. Heated up and pitched in carboy. Very odd aroma, like gym socks.)

Tasting notes (5.00/10; 1 rating)

[5/10] Jack fruit comes through, but isn't overpowering. Similar beer/fruit ratio and balance as peach. Just as hazy as the peach. Next time, I'd use less or a different hop. Alcohol seems to be apparent in the jack fruit one.
