Kegged. Kind of an artificial, medicinal cleaning solution lemon aroma. Not necessarily bad, though. Maybe a bit of a Belgian pale ale character, maybe some phenols?

Yeast

2019-04-28
Pitch starter (started on 2019-04-27 with 300mL water, StirPlate, 30 grams DME, 0.25 tsp FermaidK) made from 1 pack of Kveik (from Cliff) at 87°. (Yeast came in a vial. This is a very small starter, but that's apparently the way to do it with Kveik.)

Dry additions

2019-04-30
4 ounces of 5% Alpha Acid Lemondrop pellets.

[6/10] Decent amount of white small/medium bubbles persist. Hazy, but not murky, great bright yellow/orange color. Lots of fresh lemon/orange zest in the aroma. Maybe a slight Belgian triple phenolic aroma. Orange, tangerine, lemon in the flavor. Medium/low body. Extremely easy to drink

[5/10] Last pour. Getting some higher alcohols as it warms. Sharp, citrus zest bitterness. This kind of has a Belgian quality; phenolic, maybe chlorophenols? This is pretty drinkable still, but definitely at its best ~1 month in.
