Fall 2023 Garden Blend (HotSauce2)
This is a really small batch made with some red (maybe Thai?) chilis from the garden and a few jalapenos from Dad's garden.

Bottled today. This only produced ~1.75 bottles. The cumin aroma is a bit odd, so I'm not sure I'd do that again. I had a drop and it's got some good heat and the cumin doesn't affect the flavor in a bad way too much. Should be OK.
The following ingredients were fermented together

32 grams of JalapeƱo (Two fairly large, green peppers from Dad's garden. The weight was taken after the stems were removed.)

9.8 grams of Super Chili Pepper (These were from the garden and were picked about a month ago and have been drying since. All peppers were red. The weight was taken after the stems were removed.)

[5/10] Good amount of heat, but the cumin is giving it a really funky aroma/flavor. I wouldn't use that again.

[3/10] I really didn't like this aroma. I think it was the cumin. Not sure how to describe it, but it wasn't appetizing at all.
