8 grams of Star Anise (Approximately 7 stars. A few were pretty large.)

4.5 tablespoons of Red Sichuan Peppercorns (Natural Plus Green brand from Amazon)

Dry additions

2.25 teaspoons of Table Salt. (Kosher salt, which I put in the mortar and pestle so that there wouldn't be any large granules.

1.5tsp were put in the regular, large jar, and 0.75tsp were put in the second, 8oz mason jar.)

8oz were put in the regular jar, and 4oz were put in the 8oz jar.)
