First extract brew in a while. Enjoyed this pale ale recipe the first time I did it, so tried it again with Cascade instead of Citra.

[5/10] First pour. Hazy still, a bit of hop material. Hop aroma is not bright and floral. Sort of grassy, like the Heady Topper Clone. Thin body. Bitter citrus, like an orange rind. Not very good.

[6/10] The beer has cleared up, maybe 7-8 SRM. Carbonated well. Was sitting @ ~15 PSI for a few weeks, served at 10 PAI. Some lacing, white head, small layer sticks around. Sort of a musty, mango aroma, mostly one note. Taste is also one note, maybe unsweet pineapple? Nothing complex in this beer, but easy drinking.

[5/10] Nice clarity, some haze, darkish yellow. White head that sticks around, good lacing. Faint sweet citrus aroma, maybe some tropical fruit (mango?) is faint. Kind of a chalky(?) thing happening in the finish, is it the maltodexrine?
